Thoughts

I was very sad to hear that John had passed away and remember him fondly as a fellow dog walker at the Ark. He loved all the dogs, especially a little dog called Alfie, who he always seemed to be walking when I saw him! He will be missed by everyone at the Ark not least of all by the dogs, who I'm sure would thank him for all the lovely walks.

Dear John was a fellow Dog Walker who always had a smile and a wave as we passed each other with dogs. When we did get the chance, we chatted about his hobby of genealogy, helping me with my family tree. He joined in on our Christmas get togethers and loved a good chat. It was a shock to hear he had passed away. He is sadly missed by fellow volunteers, staff and of course the dogs he cared so much for.

All of us at The Stubbington Ark are so grateful to John for his many years of helping out with the dogs. We'd love to place a memorial for him on site, if the family are able to contact us so that we can arrange a date and time? Please contact Stephanie and Rachel at enquiries@rspcasolent.org.uk.
